Powder Filling & Weighing Machines

Powder is the hardest material to fill accurately, because the product itself decides whether a machine can hold tolerance. Free-flowing powders such as milk powder or cement admixture fill well with a single auger. Ultra-fine, aerated or blended powders flood, bridge or separate, and need a twin-screw dosing head that conveys the product as a plug.

This category also covers bulk bagging: at 10–50 kg per bag, a 1% overfill is real money, so the DCS-F25 uses net-weight weighing with dust extraction and bag compaction to protect both your product margin and your plant environment.

Which Model Fits Your Line?

Tell us the bulk density, particle size and flow behaviour of your powder — those three facts decide the machine more than anything else.

Model Dosing type Fill range Speed Accuracy Product type
2-500 Single auger screw 100–2000 g 15–40 bags/min ±1% Free-flowing powders
8-300/350 Twin counter-rotating screw 10–3000 g 10–35 bags/min ±0.2–0.5% Ultra-fine, light, blended powders
DCS-F25 Bulk net-weight hopper 10–50 kg 3–8 bags/min ±0.2% at 25 kg Paper / woven / FIBC bags

Frequently Asked Questions

What buyers ask before they specify a machine in this range

How do I know if my powder needs a twin screw?
Three warning signs: the powder is finer than about 100 mesh, its bulk density is below 0.3 g/cm³, or it is a blend of different particle sizes. Any of those means a single auger will drift and the twin screw is worth the extra cost.
What dust extraction do I need?
Plan for 1500–2000 m³/h at the filling spout for flour-type powders. The machine provides the extraction port; we can quote a matched cartridge filter and cyclone with the machine so the ducting is designed once.
Can these machines fill jars and cans instead of bags?
Yes — the twin-screw head and the auger filler can both be supplied with a rigid-container adapter for jars, cans and tins, which is common for pharma and cosmetic powders.
